I asked the guys if they were okay with me posting their photos and they all said yes but then I forgot to blog about it. :laughing: Some of the photos are already on my facebook.

The first thing I did after the BBQ was to take a shower. Never have a BBQ during the day in a hot country like Singapore! I was sweating like crazy. argh.
We transferred photos to Kersley’s laptop, talked about the good old days etc. Then Kers started to pack his things. He was taking the plane in a few hours. He was in Singapore for a few days only.
I wanted to try Bryan’s Nikon camera. I found it a tad heavy at first but soon I was happily taking photos of everything in sight. Kers and Di also had fun taking photos with that camera. :)

===================
Pay attention to the photos. I will ask a question at the end of this entry. :mrgreen:
====================

Adrian was the only person who let me take many photos of him. The others were moving about too much or they were busy talking to each other.

Group photo with the 2 girls from Madagascar. Our smiles look very strained. haha. We took many photos using the self-timer and this was one of the last photos. We’ve had enough. haha

I almost didn’t go because I slept for a few hours only. Huge eyebags. o.0 I was very tired all day but I really enjoyed myself. =)
I love meeting up with old friends. Right now, many of my good friends are in different countries but somehow when we meet up again even after many years, everything is like in the ‘good old days’. Some friendships can really survive.

Lastly……………….

Did you notice that I was the only one who was barefoot? :P That’s the first thing my sister said to me when I sent her the photos. :P

    I was paying attention to everything except the foot! :) Do they always wear a slipper or sock inside? In Mauritius we don’t go barefoot at home, but here in Singapore we do. Sometimes I will just wear a sock. I kind of prefer wearing socks than go barefoot.

    I never go barefoot at home, even when it’s really hot. I guess it’s more out of habit. :D

    @ Carine,
    My cousin was staying at that place for a few days only. He was on a business trip. He works in France and I think they don’t have the habit of walking around barefoot in the house. He didn’t remove his shoes and that’s why the others didn’t remove theirs. There were no slippers provided as well.
    I don’t like to go barefoot too but that’s how it is Singapore. :( When I went in, I removed my shoes as usual but it was only after a while that I noticed that the others kept their shoes on. haha.

    @ Morinn,
    I also don’t go barefoot at home back in Mauritius (in fact I don’t have any Mauritian friend who does so) but in Singapore, the local people have this habit of going around barefoot in their house.

    @ David,
    Why do you ask if I’m sure that I’m getting enough iron?

    Hi Aline,

    If you are feeling tired quite often it could be that you
    are not getting enough Iron or Vitamin B. :)

    Sometimes I go barefoot at home, mostly in summer. I like the feeling of the cold floor under my feet when I walk :mrgreen:

    I have a colleague that go barefoot even at the office :faint: She would just kick her heels off under her desk and walk around barefoot most of the day!

    @ David,
    thanks!I didn’t know that. I don’t know if I’m getting enough iron or vitamin B but I know that I’m often tired because I don’t sleep much everyday. :)

    @ Angele,
    I never go barefoot back in Mauritius. I always wear house slippers. My mother always yelled at me and my siblings back when we were kids and running around barefoot. :P Going around barefoot at the office ?? That’s not something that I would do. Some women change their shoes at work because they don’t want to wear high heels all day indoors.
