Bryan phoned me to ask me if I wanted to go out to eat dinner. I said ‘No’ (haha. I actually said NO to food. :P ) because I was a bit sick of eating out and also because I’m trying to avoid unnecessary expenses. He tried to convince me to change my mind but I was still saying no and in the end, he had to tell me the truth: My cousin (who is also Bryan’s friend) was coming to Singapore for a few days on a business trip and told Bryan not to let anyone know. He wanted it to be some kind of surprise. =_= I had to say yes in the end. I haven’t seen my cousin since 2005. Bryan told me to contact Diana about the dinner plan. She is another old friend of mine and she is also currently living in Singapore.

When I first saw the name of this restaurant, I did a double take. Manhattan Fish Market. Fish market??? I was like ‘huh? What’s this?’ It turned out that it was really a restaurant. In fact, it reminds me a lot of Fish and Co.

Diana and I used to be very close during our high school days but we eventually lost touch with each other. I think that the last time I saw her was in 2004. Is it possible to revive an old friendship? I didn’t think that it could be possible in our case but it seems that I was wrong.

Diana took this photo of Bryan.

Manhattan Fish & chips.

mfm-waiter
Photo of the waiter with our food.

mfm-set meal for two
Manhattan seafood platter for two persons. It was good. :D However, I am unable to say which one I prefer: Manhattan Fish Market or Fish and Co. I’ll have to go to Fish and Co again. I’ve kinda forgotten how the food was like.

soup
Soup of the day. I’ve already forgotten what it was but it was good.

My cousin reached the restaurant quite late. He had already eaten with his boss and some other people. We talked a bit until we finished our food and then went to Chinatown. He was staying there with his colleague.

Probably one of the last photos of the day…

I was looking at this photo and I’ve just realized that one of my arms look weird. I was wearing a dress over my jeans and my dress was hiding part of my arm when I leaned forward.
I won’t be forgetting this day anytime soon. Bryan, Diana and I had to run to the MRT station to catch the last train. I’m a bit surprised that my high heels didn’t break. :P

I actually love the food there. I usually eat at the one at Central and I find it way better than Fish and Co. The huge portion of fish and chips is enough for two. Yummy. :D

What’s wrong with wearing a watch ? :P I’ve started wearing a watch since I came to Singapore a few months ago. Before that, I only wore watches when I had exams. :P

About your comment about Diana, I think that I can answer on her behalf. She doesn’t play WOW. I like her earrings. Are you going to say something similar if I wear my big earrings? =_=

Yes!!! Rebel. It was really him! waaaaah! He has grown taller now and his voice is also different. Going to watch Episode 22 now. :P

*meow* Her hair is like cat fur!!!!

Watches are make you more aware of time and the fact that you grow old. :( @ least, your hair won’t ever change.

Coyote Sands is creepy. Hair and meows aren’t.

“Are you going to say something similar if I wear my big earrings? =_=”

    No ‘coz you’re Aline. ^_^
