March 1st, 2009Photo of the Day #1
Something to cheer me up today:

I don’t know what they are supposed to be but I like the expressions on their faces.
Note: Photo of the Day is going to be a series of photos taken by me. It can be a recent photo or even an old one. Despite the name, this series won’t be updated everyday but it will be updated depending on my mood.

Happy Birthday to my 2 little sisters Karine and Celine ! :flowers: Their birthdays are on the 27th and 29th February respectively. Unfortunately, there is no 29th February this year. On years like this, we usually celebrate Celine’s birthday on the 28th February instead. I have a special thought for my other (3rd) sister & Celine’s twin on this day. She died when she was still a baby and I have only one memory of her. I was still young and I didn’t understand what was going on. I seem to have seen her only once. I still remember my mum’s tears… I often wonder what it would have been like to have another sister.

Looks a bit like a piggy Aline
Nice photo there! Definitely a mood-lifting photo (although i don’t know what is their purpose… Ornamental?
)
Will: I thought so too. That’s why I took this photo in the first place. However, now I see what seems to be… horns on their heads.
Karl: Yes. Ornamental.
thanks!
Yello you

Happy birthday to your sisters
I wish them a long and healthy life and lots of candy/cake.
ROFL @ the picture. Do they represent your sisters?
Shah
Wishing your sisters a happy birthday! Being born on the 29th is quite rare.
I’ve lost a baby sister too when I was 9. I’ve always wondered what it would have been like if she was still here.
Those 2 statues look really mischievous
it’s a sheep!!!
nah…but yeah, these are definitely horns on them heads! so, may be a goat!?!
Have a good day…
n Happy Birthday to ur sis!
Those are the results of a forbidden love between a piggy and a goat! :faint:
And best wishes for a happy birthday to your sisters. Reading about yr other sis who’s no more, moved me. Thinking abt yr mom’s tears at that moment when her baby girl was taken from her… The pain must have been devastating.
Yeah, I think it could be a sheep too. Especially re-looking at the “skin”.
Or more precisely, I think they are Merino Rams – http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&q=merino+ram&btnG=Search+Images
hey it’d be nice if u did a blog about comparisons
between shanghai and singapore !
Shah: haha no they don’t represent my sisters.
morinn: ah… you’ve lost a sister too. =hug=
waz: I think they are rams. ( just like Will said)
Angele: results of a forbidden love between a piggy and a goat?
Yeah. I guessed that you would understand. You’ve lost someone too. =hugs=
Will: You are right.
They look like rams. thanks for the link!
wong: ah.. a first-time visitor to my blog! Welcome. I will take your suggestion into consideration but I usually just write about whatever comes to my mind, whatever happens in my life. I’ll probably mention a few differences between Shanghai and Singapore in my entries but not a blog entry dedicated to just that.
:flowers:
