April 5th, 2008Onion rings
It is almost 5:30 a.m now and I’m still up. I’ll probably go to sleep at around noon. I’ve still got loads to do. Arghhhh

I’ve had many food cravings these past few weeks. 
I suppose that I’m too stressed about my thesis. Anyone who knows me would think that I’d love eating chocolate right now but strangely, I’ve had few chocolate cravings.
There’s a bar of Snickers on my table. Only a couple of minutes ago, I had torn open the wrapper, only to put the chocolate back on the table, untouched. I don’t want chocolate right now, I want onion rings! 
Since I can’t possibly get onion rings at this time, I went through my folders on my computer just to find a photo of onion rings. The lack of sleep must be getting to me…. :faint:

If I remember correctly, I took this pic the first time I went to Burger King in Shanghai.
And here’s a black and white photo of Rosemary with the onion rings. 
This photo was in the same folder as the photo of onion rings. I can’t help smiling when I look at it. It reminds me of the good times I’ve had when Rosemary was still in Shanghai.

Ohhh the onion rings look so nice :laughing: So perfectly ring shaped and golden brown!!! Have you seen onion rings in Mauritius? Not as nice and the last time I ordered onion rings in a steak house, they looked like “gateau moutaille”!!

hehe, not in my case. I knew that I couldn’t satisfy my craving immediately. I felt better after looking at the photo of onion rings and I kinda forgot about my craving when I saw the other photos in that folder. I remembered the good times I had with friends.
I googled for some pics of gato moutaille but there were none :laughing:
Anyway the gato moutaille is round shaped and spiral going from the inside. It’s very very sweet because I think syrup is added on the cakes.Oh yeah and they have that distinctive yellow color.
