June 27th, 2007Oops, another disappearing act
wow, it’s been so long already?
I’m beginning to hate the wordress maintenance mode plugin. 
It’s just too easy to activate it and then put off updating for months. I think I activated the plugin in order to update to the wordpress 2.2 but then because many people were having trouble with that upgrade, I decided to wait for version 2.2.1 to come out instead and now, it’s finally out. The current theme is only temporary. I’m quite busy with my exams right now.
So how I am doing… ? I was so happily typing the above words that I actually forgot about my food poisoning. I’ve been quite miserable for one and a half weeks. No more seafood for me for a long time! I have to be very careful about what I eat until I recover completely. I need to get better by Friday 29th because it’s a BIG day for me. More about that later.

I didn’t eat a lot but it was enough to make me sick. Desmond also fell sick because of the food. yar, the show is on Friday.
Reply to Carine: hehe yes finally back. Yup. I had no problems with the upgrade from 2.1.3 to 2.2.1 . It went smooth. I also upgraded Desmond’s blog (he’s going to blog again soon after a long hiatus) from wp 2.0.4 to 2.2.1 and I had no problems at all. I kept my old config file though. I read that the new one caused a few problems (strange symbols, Chinese characters not appearing like they should,etc) and that it should be used only for fresh installs,not upgrades.
I like this paper airplane theme, sweet simple and cute. Good luck with upgrades.

Ouch! Food poisoning is definitely something horrible and not fun dealing with.
China is a Nation filled with problems, and no solutions in the forseeable future. If you can’t tell all that from your time here, find your receipts because your time and
money was wasted.
And definitely do not eat food that are processed in China, because you never know what you are putting into your mouth.
