OMG That’s the most difficult language i’ve ever seen?

i think if i can master mandarin at the conversational level, it will be enough for me already.
oo, but ure serious, ure taking it as a course! good luck:)
oh, u do have an insanely large collection of emotes! hahaha
omg, I got “You Should Learn French”
“C’est super! You appreciate the finer things in life… wine, art, cheese, love affairs.
You are definitely a Parisian at heart. You just need your tongue to catch up…”
In another test, I was advised to learn russian (I learned russian in the lycée – but I forgot almost everything), you can take the test here : http://www.quizgalaxy.com/quiz.php?id=64 and you can see my result here : http://octolan.com/blog/2006/02/17/1472-quiz-galaxy

But i’m glad tat i know how to read and write chinese, many good books all in chinese.
i learned bit french too, long time didnt practise, dun think so still can remember all.

I got Chinese also… sheesh, I guess maybe I should start studying instead of teaching English. =)
 So you attempted this quiz as well
I couldn’t get Chinese even for my third try (much as I tried tweaking the answer, but never mind since that is my first language
)
But I am definitely glad that my result is a “good one” *off to reread my elementary Japanese*
PS:Maybe you can try the PersonalDNA quiz which I did quite recently. That is even more fun and horrifying accurate
hm… maybe this is a sign?
hehe I’d love to learn Japanese one day.
*nods* I’m not sure about the banana part …Don’t be too modest. Maybe you are good already.
Some people are not very good but i still admire the fact that they don’t give up.
i took it and got Mandarin (Chinese language)again. wah.. I’m on the right track then. hehe
French is great too!
you didn’t study Chinese at all? You picked up some Chinese right? Being in China and all…
horrifying huh? I’ll try the quiz soon.
It said I should learn Hindi. Kewl quizzy.
=) Have a good day sweetie.
Lol. I want to learn French!!!
I did the variation quiz which you have grabbed from your online friend and I have Japanese as my result again
*looks at the chart carefully* Hmm,I should really consider learning Spanish and Italian soon
Yeah, you should try the PersonalDNA quiz soon
You will find their analysis a relevation
I never studied, I listened. My Chinese improved during my first year here, because I was forced to learn it, being alone.
I’m too old to learn anything from a book anymore. =)
I can carry on conversations, reading is a no-no, and writing is pretty much impossible.
I do know characters from sight, and I can type what I want to, using MSPinyin98 and my mobile phone… but that’s about it.
I need to get a tutor who is not an English student. Too many of them would rather sit and talk in English.
Is Japanese really in the ‘difficult to learn’ section:shock: My bf and his friends are all learning japanese (tutored by one of their friend who went to Japan to learn it ’sur le tas’ but they learned it mostly by themselves with the help of self-learning books- that friend just ‘guided’ them). Now my bf’s pretty much okay – he can read everything in japanese (even the kanji) and orally, he only has to improve his fluency (and his vocabulary, as in any other language). bref, he learned all that really quickly, and pretty much by himself. And now he’s interested in Mandarin..So I wonder…is it THAT difficult to learn japanese? I think it’s just subjective – the more different your mothertongue is from the other language, the more difficult it might be. Spanish is not, I believe, easier to learn for a chinese speaker – For a french speaker yes, coz the languages share the same origins. I have those chinese kids in my french class and they really find it difficult to learn french. So, personally, I think this graph is subjective coz all languages are of the same degree of difficulty. it just depends on your motivation to learn it and of course, on the influences of your mothertongue:D
Just my 2 penny
I got Russian! hehe
yes i agree. I know some people who pick up the Chinese language easily and who are having trouble with English or French. Japanese huh? I want to learn that too!
lol
Go girl! :flowers:
