November 17th, 2005Getting colder and colder
I have my last exam tomorrow. Bah . Getting a bit sick of uni. I feel like going travelling. ![]()
I’m going shopping tomorrow after my exams.
I love shopping. I always feel better afterwards. It’s so cold right now and a bit windy too. I wore jeans and a big turtleneck sweater today and they obviously weren’t enough for the cold night because my teeth were chattering & my hands were icy cold when I went out for dinner earlier. Had I not been in a hurry, I’d have gone back to get a coat. It’s only around 9 degrees tonight but it’s still very cold for me. I’m more of a summer person. It’s going to be colder and colder soon and I’m not looking forward to that. I wonder if it’s going to snow again this winter.
Everyone is wearing big sweaters or jackets right now and it won’t be long until people start wearing long coats, gloves, hats and boots. I don’t understand how people can still be wearing very short skirts in this weather.
My camera is currently not with me so I’m using this pic I took last year (around this time of the year) instead. I guess I noticed the girl because of her hair but then I saw what she was wearing.
ahhhh… and also her ‘cute’ bag.

When it’s cold like this, a knee-length or longer skirt would be more appropriate if the person really wants to wear a skirt but then again, some people don’t mind suffering a bit for the sake of ‘beauty’.

hi i’m laure marday i used 2 live in beaubassin in mauritius.but my family still...
See, you worried too much.

It is cold here too. Brrrr I am getting cold just looking at that girl. But yes, what an adorable bag! so kawaii
Are you kidding??
9 degrees and COLD????????????????????
That’s the PERFECT temperature to take a gooooood walk around:P with a coat for sure, but gloves….hmmm:shock:
Whoa, is Shanghai that cold already?
That person looks like a foreigner. Or perhaps that is my assumption because of her hair colour. And I have to admit. That bag she’s carrying is pretty adorable.
And of course, all the best for your final paper tomorrow.
I cannot help but add this little comment:P: Am pretty sure this person isn’t a foreigner. It looks more like a typical excentric japanese girl or something:P
Check out the hair color of the asian girl just beside the one with the short skirt.
retail theraphy always works for me too!
I wish it were 9C here
we’r still boiling at a 16C
i remember when uggs first came out… people were wearing ‘em with EVERYTHING. they look so cute with a skirt though ;)
Maybe she wore it to warm other people up

No the bag is not cute, but you, Aline, is really cute. I guess girls all over the world are shopaholics right
I do not want to sound like 好色的烦人, but here in 东北中国, girls are quite “Traditional”, but they dress like that.
As a guy… that can be QUITE annoying. Seeing a girl in fishnets, stiletto heels, rabbit fur half coat, and a bulletproof chastity belt… is a real … umm… pain in the butt.
I know… I know… this was a post about cold weather, but… that just annoys the hell out of me. =) hahahaha
I know there are differences in culture, but I have seen girls here that, if they were to walk down the streets in my hometown, in the clothes they wear, would be picked up for prostitution.
Are we entirely sure she was wearing anything under that coat? Here in the U.S, members of PETA would probably have a hard time deciding what to do with her. Throw paint on her fur or tackle her to free the poor puppy.
Firefly I was thinking the same things…what skirt? I don’t see any skirt! My daughter popped in and said immediately, OOOhhh look at her puppy bag. LOL I’m sure that’s what she wants to get noticed.
I forgot to reply to this comment. Better late than never.
Japanese? Well in China, Japanese are foreigners too…. I’m not sure what you mean…
Anyway, that was a Chinese girl.
