Because of National Day (Guo Qing Jie) — Oct 1, we had a one week holiday from Oct 1 to Oct 7. :cloud9:
However, we had classes on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th. I still remember how it was like at People’s Square on the eve of Guo qing jie last year so this year, my friends and I went clubbing instead. We went to Pegasus at Huai hai zhong Road on Friday 30th September . It was my first time at Pegasus and I have to say this : I don’t like the music there on Fridays. Hopefully, the music is nicer on Thursdays. Some people have told me that Pegasus is nice on Thursdays. Anyway, we walked over to Babyface after Pegasus. We didn’t go inside. We then took a cab to Windows, the one at South Maoming Road. It was practically empty but only because we went there so late. I heard it was packed a few hours earlier.
I also went to Guandi at Fuxing Park a second time last Thursday. It was Ladies Night so free entrance for the ladies. I think that Guandi is my favorite night club in Shanghai so far. I like the music. It reminds me of Saxo , a night club in Mauritius. However the drinks are a tab too expensive at Guandi.
Tips for students: There’s an All days and Lawson in the Fuxing Park. Get your drinks there and if it’s only a Breezer or something, hide it somewhere and go inside to drink. :P My friend put it in her bag. Or drink outside. heh

Since the weather wasn’t very nice last week, I didn’t go out much. Only clubbing, dinner out with friends, shopping, Yu yuan and a party right before the National holiday. We had to postpone our plan to go to the 2005 Shanghai Pudong Global Carnival. Maybe we’ll be go this Saturday. Not confirmed yet.

It has gotten a bit cold lately. I’m supposed to be in my ‘新闻听力’ class right now but I haven’t been feeling well today. Woke up slightly before 9 am with a big headache, dark under-eye cirles and a runny nose.
