August 29th, 2005I won’t be going to Pizza Hut again for a long time
I went to Pizza Hut at Caudan so many times this hols that the mere thought of pizza makes me feel a bit queasy now. That’s why I don’t have any pics of pizza in this entry. :laughing:

I always take pics of Pizza Hut from the front so I opted for a different angle this time.

The pic with KeNnY was taken outside Pizza Hut but on the same day… Should have used flash. 
It’s my only pic with him.
We were walking around in Caudan the week before, looking for gifts, sitting at Sunset Café & Café Cabane and coughing ( both sick)… but didn’t take any pics together because there was no one to take our pic. He’s back to UK now.

I went to Pizza Hut again today with a few high school friends this time; Sabrina, Puckie (or Puck. It’s a nickname. Puck is a character in Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. ) and Milly.
I’m no longer sick now. This explains why I was in a pic-taking mood today. I took the antibiotics and cough medicine for a few days only and I’m feeling alright now. Why didn’t I go to see the doc sooner??pffff .
Anyway we talked a bit about the good old QEC (Queen Elizabeth College) days and teased each other about who’s going to get married first. We all say that we are too young now, still have loads to do in life and that maybe in 5 years+ … :laughing:

Puckie and me. I had to wait for Puckie to smooth her hair and get ready for the pic first. She forgot her mirror today. hehe When my friends and I think about Puckie, the first image of her which often comes to our mind is one of her looking at a mirror. We always tease her about that.

I love those gals. And…. I miss the other QEC friends so much. 
Looking at all these pics remind me of something that a friend of mine told me recently:
Stop thinking too much and try to be as sunny as before. If you stop smiling, your dimples will slowly fade away and you will have frown lines.
I am happier these days but it seems that my dimples have disappeared now. :no:
So tired now. I didn’t sleep much last night. Need to go to bed early today. I’m going shopping tomorrow.

my summer vacation is almost over as well, and it’s time for me to move on to post-secondary, which i’m still petrified of. anyway, that pizza hut looks quite posh

Don’t you have any better restaurants in Mauritius than Pizza Hut??
The thing I liked the most about Pizza Huts in China was that they had dessert. Yeah. But the pizzas never seemed to have enough tomato sauce. Having said all that…they did have they best pizza in China.

yes, we have better restaurants but one of my friends is a vegetarian and we don’t have many restaurants with both veg and non-veg food in Port Louis (capital of Mauritius). We already went to Tandoori Express so the only one left in Caudan (where most people like to hang out and do some shopping) was Pizza Hut where they have Veggie Lovers Pizza as well as non-veg pizzas.

I had pizza only twice in China. I saw one with cashew nuts on the menu last time I went. Might try it one day when I get back to SH.
Hmm,so you are not going to eat pizza for sometime XD It looks like the photos of the food are making me hungry
On a serious note,I think it is good for you to be sunny again
But I don’t know about the dimples part though 
I love Pizza Hut!
But I don’t go there for the pizzas, I go there for the pasta, especially the baked pasta they serve in Singapore’s Pizza Hut outlets. Yummy yum yum.

I would die for a Pizza Hut. The only pizza they have here is… well… different, to say the least.
Pizza with corn is edible, but when they start putting rasins and coconut on it, that is where I start to draw the line.
any other eating joints other than Pizza Hut there? .. anyway i lov the pic with harbourfront look to it, so so cool!. down here, our ports are just huge tankers or cruise ship, bleah

i went to pizza hut as a kid for bday partes :party: but i haven’t been there for AGES now.
dunno why…just isn’t that great. it was funny in shanghai, it’s almost like a first class restaurant with waitressess posted at the door to bow & greet u as u enter 
here, it’s anything BUT a classy restaurant :p

I now have a craving for pizza. I lived off of it when I went to Europe a few weeks ago because I was afraid of lots of the food :laughing:

Once a week it’s pizza day for me i.e ever since I discovered a new pizza place (New York Pizza) here in Singapore

mikez, it is not an obsession. We didn’t have much choice since my friend is a vegetarian. hmm i will post pics of other food i had this hols then.
