July 14th, 2005Back to Mauritius
It feels good to be back home. I’ve been helping out in my parents’ store but I also went out a few times with my sisters and friends. I cannot use my old sim card for the time being. I’m using my sister’s old sim card. Luckily, I had a few of my friends’ phone numbers saved on that sim. I’ve met a few friends already and will be meeting more later. I have nearly two months for that. ![]()
There are a few new things at home and one of them is this small fish tank:

Some of the fish:

It’s not very hot in Mauritius. In fact, it is winter right now but it doesn’t feel cold either. The weather sure is nicer than that in Shanghai. It was 34-39°C when I left Shanghai.
We finally have ADSL at home. I guess it’s only until September. My mum figured that it’s the best option since my bro (who’s also back to MU for his hols) and I go online very often. Our old internet package wouldn’t be enough.

2 months is a long time to be home, but I’m sure it’ll be a well deserved break from Shanghai. Although if it were me, I’d miss the bars the most.
Have fun. Thanks for adding my site.

Quote?omg! 34-39°C!!!!!
that’s insane! the weather is so extreme in shanghai..in winter it’s reALLy freezing & in summer it’s like being in a pressure cooking.
Quote? Here in melbourne, it’s variable. you can’t tell what season it is by the weather alone. Apparently we’re famous for “4-in-1-day” coz any one day could be representative of one of the 4 seasons. No point listening to the weather report
You are finally back in Mauritius?
You have a nice fish tank there
34-39°C?That is even hotter than my country’s daily temperature
Quote?at 30°C, i cant even sleep properly at night …
and it’s 34-39°C in shanghai!! woah .. major hot
Quote? That last picture of the fish tank… look at the fish at the top. You think you caught it in an embarrassing moment? hahahaha What a look.
Quote?Kyle, hehe ..yeah… the fish was like “ooohhhhhhhhhhh”
