I saw photos of a snake eating a kangaroo on a Mauritian website. My friend Chey posted the pics.
She got the pics from another forum.
Apparently,the snake needs 2 weeks to digest the kangaroo and is particularly vulnerable during that time.

Oh my … that looks scary. The thought of being swallowed alive SLOWLY & unable to do anything just scares me!! … btw there’s kangaroo in Mauritius?

OMG! Poor little kangaroo!! Last time on TV I saw a snake successfully swallowing a huge egg!!

Wwwwoooooowww! Being swallowed alive slowly is horrible. But the snake squeezes the life out of it’ prey. Otherwise it could hurt it from the inside.
actually, the kangaroo would not have been concious, that is either a boa or large python which constricts its prey stopping it from breathing and also crushing its insides. u can see the snake wrapped round it in the photo:grin:
