April 27th, 2005This is Spring?! So hot!
I love Shanghai. The only thing I complain about so far is the weather. I’m not used to it yet.
According to weather.com , it’s 88°F in Shanghai right now. I’m only used to °C, so I looked for a Fahrenheit to Celsius Convertor. Here’s one.
88°F =31.111111111111114 °C
No wonder I feel like I’m going to faint. I’ve been to the bank just now and 15 mins walking outside was more than enough.
31 °C and it’s only spring. If this is what spring is like in Shanghai, I’m not looking forward to summer.
It wasn’t this hot a few days ago. Winter was too cold and spring isn’t nice either. I hope that the temperature will drop soon. Unlike the nice, sunny weather in Mauritius, here I can practically feel the sun’s harmful rays on my skin. Not a pleasant feeling at all. I’m going to buy suncreen or sunblock today. I really need it. I used to put on suncreen only when I go tanning at the beach. I can already imagine the state of my skin after a few years in Shanghai if I don’t use suncreen everyday during spring and summer.
This sunny weather makes me want to go to the beach. No beach here.
I miss the beaches in Mauritius.
A few of my photos (the sea, the beaches in Mauritius) :

Hey.. Aline.. Yup.. Riiiiiiiiiiight. It’s tooooooo hot for Spring, that I miss my hometown in Korea too.
But No ways to be out of here, you know.

Quote? So make us sigh though.. hehe
But Let’s try to enjoy the moment here
Anyway.. The scenery in the pictures you uploaded is soooooooo beautiful, that I can understand why Heidi took there for her honeymoon trip. And I love the emeral coloured beach in there.
Okay Aurevoire, Madmoiselle!!
P.S-
I’m not sure if the spelling of the french words I wrote above is right or not. hehe
If it’s wrong let me know on my page, Mon Ami.
Ah the beach looks lovely.
And 31°C is too hot
PS: I think weather.com has an option to show temperatures in either English Units or Metric Units (near the bottom of the page)
Quote?Nice layout you have,aline
